In other news, Hobbes has decided late in life that he enjoys fresh baked bread from Schnitz's and also their donuts. We have to keep baked goods in the microwave or the refrigerator or he will jump on the counter and chew through the bag for it. Whodathunkit?
Today he begged for a piece of donut so I put the wax paper bag down on the floor for him to sniff. He proceeded to prove his love for one tiny little crumb by getting his head stuck in the bag. His solution: walk backwards until running into the coffee table then turn and walk backwards into the couch, then turn and walk backwards into the chair... etc...HAHAHA He did all this with not a hint of panic and a great deal of dignity, I give him that. I nearly wet my pants laughing at him. Too bad the camera wasn't nearby or I'd post a picture.
After all that I had to give him a piece of my donut - he earned it!

I'm not sure about the cat, but now I'm salivating for a doughnut myself, as I imagine these to be the best doughnuts ever.....and we haven't a lousy doughnut shop where I live and I refuse to eat grocery store stuff......(food snob)

Cats are weird, aren't they? Just when you think you know 'em, they surprise you. I am so glad the poor fella did not panic...I have a feeling you would have been too busy laughing at him to help him!
