Sam and Mocha

Sam's begun taking a great deal of interest in the kitties. Mocha takes some interest in him as well. Hobbes simply ignores him.

In this picture, he's getting a guided introduction to touching Miss Mocha.

Drool slathered little hands attract kitty hair like wet magnets but I guess babies live with animals the world over. I doubt we'll be getting rid of the cats so I better get used to it!

  • Oh yeah, it is much better for babies to have animals around since they introduce the tykes to all sorts of germs and stuff. Little Sam will develop immunities that will make him much less vulnerable to illness later in life. Plus he is less likely to fear animals as he grows. It's all good.

  • The baby and the cat will become as close as siblings, I bet. That's what happened here, when my Joe was a baby. His big brother kitty died last spring. Those two were together all the time. The cat even rode bikes and skateboards. I miss him.

  • Oh, he's as cute as a bug......I can't believe how big he's getting.
You'll be safe until he starts using the cat as a teething tool.....:)
