I Dream of Flyswatters and Downtown Wanderings

I bet you guys have been missing reading about my dreams, haven't you!? Well, I had a great one last night! I dreamed I took Mr. Sam to see Stefano DiMera from Days of Our Lives. Somehow he was related, like a grandfather or something. But Stefano had two daughters that didn't appreciate me coming around with a baby. They thought I was just after Stefano's money. (I wasn't) So they got me off by myself and were going to beat me with fly swatters. Little did they know I had my OWN Flyswatter and I knew exactly how to use it! And SWAT SWAT! SWAT!I swatted them so bad they had no choice but to surrender!

We took Sam downtown today and saw these buildings:

and stared at the fountain in front of the Gerald R Ford Museum:

It was a georgous day! October is not usually this warm and wonderful so we've been taking full advantage of it!

  • I don't often have vivid dreams that I remember well so I am somewhat jealous when I here other people's dream stories.

But the other night I dreamed I went to see Ayekah, and brought along my three children, the dog, my sister, mother and aunt AND two Hisapanic children! We sort of took over her house, and when I woke up, I was telling everybody we had to go, that she was not used to all this mess! (Of course I emailed Ayekah and apologized for being such terrible house guests in my dream!)

  • I had a dream about Jimmy Carter last night. It was way to embarrassing to go on about, though. It sure is a beautiful October.

  • I can never remember my dreams...which is somewhat annoying to my father-in-law who has steeped himself in Jungian dream interpretation and therefore feels like there's a part of me I'm not letting him in on.

Amy(my wife) has vivid dreams, and she remembers every detail. She'll often wake up and rattle off the minute elements one by one by one...and then turn to me looking for some response.

I've found the best response to be:
"I dreamed of a fluffy bunny."

  • More dreams! More dreams! Maybe we will begin to see a pattern.
