Coffeepot Song
All I want is a proper cup of coffee,
Made in a proper copper coffee pot.
I may be off my dot,
But I want a cup of coffee from a proper coffee pot.
Iron coffee pots and tin coffee pots,
Oh, They're no use to me,
If I can't have a proper cup of coffee
From a proper copper coffee pot
I'll have a cup of tea!
- chorus of a folksong
Trying saying that one fast!
Made in a proper copper coffee pot.
I may be off my dot,
But I want a cup of coffee from a proper coffee pot.
Iron coffee pots and tin coffee pots,
Oh, They're no use to me,
If I can't have a proper cup of coffee
From a proper copper coffee pot
I'll have a cup of tea!
- chorus of a folksong
Trying saying that one fast!

Nice. I remember a ditty about coffee we learned in school (as a round):
C-o-f-f-e-e
coffee is not for me
It's a drink some people wake up with
that it makes them nervous is no myth

Oh! You should see if you can find this song as done by the group Trout Fishin' In America! It's really funny and really fast!

We sang the coffee song in girl scouts---and I do not like coffee (I know, don't hit me though, I get my caffiene in diet coke) Maybe the girl scout song indoctrinated me?

I did see/hear the group Trout
Fishing in American perform that song at the Denton Jazz Festival earlier this year.
