Girls Just Wanna Have Funyuns

Every once in a while a girl gots to have her some Funyuns. And then she'll have a case of major gator breath for 15 hours no matter how much she brushes, flosses and rinses.

It's a byoootiful day. The car is literally covered with pollen and the inside of my nose feels like it has athlete's foot. But it is super sunny and warm, and a wonderful spring day.

Today Sam and I went to the Library and then to Marado down town. Whodathunk that one could take a two year old to Marado and have a nice sushi lunch? I sure never would have dreamed it. But today, it seemed like the thing to do. Sam had edamame, tofu and avocado. He was having a ball! I had a spicy tuna roll and a philadelphia roll and just loved hanging out with my son in my favorite sushi place. It got a little dicey when he ran out of avocado, but I ordered more, and then we were all set. The waitress didn't charge us for the avocado either, which was lovely of her!

Here's Sam with his Rock Star hair and his Road Rash from falling down a step. Also, just so you know, we don't let him drink syrup and eat pepper for breakfast. That was just our desperate attempt to entertain him while we still finished our pancakes.

I've been learning how to cut his hair myself... not bad, eh? His expression here is hilarious. "Mom, if you take one more picture.... "

And here's my big helper, helping do yard work. We had a lot of fun!

  • Buy that kid some toys to play with while y'all finish your pancakes! (I bet he doesn't have any at all! LOL)

Looks like you've learned very well how to cut his hair, though I loved his rock star look too.

I have to tell you--Funyuns do stink!

  • I can't believe how big he's gotten...then again it's been a while. Hair shot looks much like mine, most of the time, not just in the morning!! Hope you are well!
