Mobile Update
The Mobile has lost another note. The Tune is now a mostly random, very cheerful one that slightly resembles the original ditty. It keeps the Little Dude entertained long enough for me to shower though, and for that I am grateful.
As it was losing the 4th note, it briefly became a very uncheerful, strange blues tune that reminded me of a melancholy drunken bar room piano player.
So far no more notes are deteriorating.
I'll keep you posted.

At first reading I thought you were talking about a mobile phone and I was trying to imagine what might make just one note not work on a cell phone and why you would be giving it to your child so you could take a shower.
